Preparing for Color or Highlights: We ask that you come with dry hair, as single process color can only be applied to dry hair. Highlights can be applied to wet hair, but stylists usually prefer to apply to dry hair.
Preparing for a Haircut: All haircuts include a shampoo and blow dry, unless the client requests otherwise; thus, there is no need to wash your hair prior to arrival.
Preparing for a Massage or Body Treatment: Many clients ask questions about the proper attire for a massage. This is solely determined by your comfort level. Most clients wear only underwear to allow the therapist to give a more thorough massage of the legs, lower back, etc. Additionally, therapists recommend that women remove their bra, as it allows for a more thorough massaging of the back and shoulders. Our licensed therapists are trained to drape you discreetly and to protect your privacy at all times.
Preparing for a Pedicure: Your technician will gladly remove any polish prior to your pedicure. We offer open-toed pedicure slippers to leave the salon in for your convenience, but we recommend bringing a pair of your own flip-flops, as these pedicure slippers are not designed for the outdoors.
Preparing for Sunless Bronzing: We offer an exfoliation service for an additional $30 prior to the bronzing treatment. We highly recommend this exfoliation, as it preps the skin for the bronzing lotion, allowing a smoother, more long-lasting application. Most clients wear a bathing suit or a bra and underwear. Remember that the possibility of product getting on your garment exists, so please plan accordingly.
Preparing for an Upstyle: Our upstyles do not include a shampoo and blow dry, so please come to your upstyle appointment with dry hair ready to be styled. If you would like to have your hair shampoo and blow dried prior to your upstyle, please notify the receptionist when scheduling your appointment. There will be an additional fee of $20-$35, depending on hair length and thickness.
